If any paediatric patient requires a surgical opinion or has a definitive surgical issue, the on-site Surgical team will happily review the patient. There is NO lower age limit, i.e., if they are older than 0 days, the surgeons will review them, if requested.

This applies even if the patient requires transfer to a tertiary hospital for the surgical issue.

This has been discussed and agreed upon by the departmental Chiefs of Service.

If there is any query in this regard, please contact the Surgical Consultant covering SAU or the particular surgical specialty, regardless of the hour.
